Imua means to move forward with strength and that is exactly what we strive to do in our OC Imua Program. This program is dedicated to providing our newest paddlers an environment to become confident outrigger canoe paddlers so you can explore our waterways, explore your boundaries and explore all aspects of outrigger canoeing with strength and pride.

* Open to Supporting Paddlers

Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Coach: Keith Tsang / Di Eckerle

OC Trek builds on the basics learned in OC Imua and applies them to distance and navigation of our local waterways. Each practice will be a minimum of 6 miles with a goal towards building endurance and efficiency for our advanced single and multi-day expedition paddles planned throughout the season.

* Open to Supporting Paddlers

Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Coach: Ed Acker / Jennifer Cox

The OC Race Program is dedicated to mental and physical conditioning for the challenges of competition. The program revolves around a Strength/Speed/Distance training style, and will require time both on and off the water to fully train yourself for competition.  This program is designed to prepare you for iron-style (in the boat from start to finish) races typical of races of the East Coast Outrigger Racing Association.
